Lucie Vostalová
Lucie's work is characterized above all by its simplicity, yet also playfulness and variability at the same time. She focuses mainly on the function and practicality of the products.
Lucie studied Ceramics at the Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art, University of West Bohemia in Pilsen, Czech Republic. Her bachelor thesis was nominated for the National Award for Student Design. Lucie's diploma thesis was then selected for the Diploma Selection 2017 of Designblok festival and nominated for the National Prize for Student Design. She then went on to study Curatorial Studies at the Faculty of Art and Design of the Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem, Czech Republic. She exhibited her works in China or at the Křehký Mikulov Collectors' Festival, amongst others. Her works can be found in the permanent collections of the Museum of West Bohemia and the Taoxichuan Ceramic Art Avenue.
