NALEJTO studio
We design and manufacture mainly porcelain products. We believe in quality handwork and respect the craftsmanship.
We are the studio of a trio of designers: Markéta Kalivodová, Lucie Vasilová and Lenka Záhorková. Since 2015 we jointly design and manufacture mainly applied arts products from porcelain and ceramics under the brand name NALEJTO. We are united by the love for the traditional craftsmanship that we combine with new approaches.
Our portfolio consists of vases, bowls, tea sets, mugs, interior accessories, yet also free objects or limunaires. Our work seeks the just balance between aesthetics and functionality, but we are also not reluctant to experiment, to combine materials and to use new technologies. One of the unifying themes often addressed in the background of our work is the contrast of tradition and the progressive present.

Every new product or your custom order goes through Markéta’s hands. With her many years of experience, she holds the position of Chief Technologist in our studio.
Markéta specializes in combining materials and experimenting with technologies. Her priority is high-quality craftsmanship. In addition to working with our brand, she also teaches in the Ceramics Studio at the University of West Bohemia in Plzeň.
Lucie is partially responsible for the studio's operations and supervision.
Her work is characterized mainly by simplicity, yet also playfulness and versatility. She focuses primarily on the functionality and practicality of the products.
You will most likely communicate with Lenka if you wish to have something made, place an order, etc. She also manages the brand's external communication and the studio’s operations.
Lenka often balances between design and fine art. Her favorite themes include, for example, the cycle of life and the endless process of creation, decay, and renewal of objects. This theme also appears in her artistic-social project 'TAK TO BYLO,' which has made its way to the National Gallery and Milan Design Week.
